Billy Joel Interview
(May 10th, 2011)

Billy Joel gave a meandering and wide-ranging interview to reporters on Long Island this week.

He talked about Oyster Bay Village's future, his daughter and even Osama bin Laden.

On Oyster Bay Village, he says the town needs a vision and needs to be more parking-friendly.

"We need to have families bring their kids, wheeling them around, looking in the windows, buying things," Joel says.

Joel opened a motorcycle display shop on Audrey Avenue last fall. He hopes that new restaurants and retail shops follow him into the area.
